Westin Poinsett Wedding | Tinsley and Michael

Tinsley and Michael were married in a gorgeous evening wedding last Saturday. The day was filled with emotional and touching moments between the beautiful couple and their close-knit families. The reception was held in the ballroom at the Westin Poinsett with the most amazing floral décor from Karen at The House Plant. Tinsley and Michael, I hope you are having an amazing time in Antigua, congratulations and we wish you all the happiness in the world!

One of my favorite series of images from the day...Tinsley's Dad seeing her for the first time! Left - Lindsey's view / Right - Craig's view...

Tinsley…equally as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!

The moment right before the church doors swing open and Dad has to give his daughter away…

  1. Seeing these pictures again takes me back to that whole weekend when my brother Michael married his beautiful wife Tinsley. Soon, in only a few months, they will celebrate their 1st Anniversary. Both of you captured so many moments for all of our family to look back on and remember how happy the occasion was and how much love was felt.
Michael and I recently lost our Grandfather, and Michael was the bravest person I know and spoke at my Grandfather's funeral. He spoke about him and the loving and joyous man that he was. He then talked about how he will never forget how Granddaddy danced every dance at his wedding. Tears poured from everyone's eyes because we all knew he had a wonderful time, and it was the last real time our Grandfather was himself. We also cried tears of joy because the two of have gave us something that we can never pay you enough for. You gave us memories in the form of pictures. We have so many pictures of our Grandfather dancing with each one of us, and talking with the boys. We have all looked back on these pictures and cried and also have been so thankful that both of you took so much time to learn the families and appreciate how close we all are.
I felt the need to write something on here after looking at these pictures again. Also, my best friend just got engaged and she asked what Photographer to use and there was never a doubt in my mind who to tell her.
You both are amazing and I hope that little story helps you to realize,if you ever feel you aren't touching the lives of the ones you are taking pictures for,.....believe me you are.
Thank you so much and Merry Christmas and God Bless you both.
